You Came to The Villages British Motoring Club, All British, Car Show and Festival

Dear British Invasion Entrant,

What a wonderful Car Show and Festival we had! The weather held, although a little dark the
last two hours, the Hooligans rocked, the James Bond guy was fantastic, and the cars killed!
We cannot thank you enough for coming. We were pleased with the way things turned out, but
will have a club debrief in December and will let you know the results. We will also talk with
The Villages and see if the same date and place makes sense.
Several awards were not picked up, maybe because the crowd around the pavilion, where I was
announcing the awards, was packed in tight. We’ll fix that next year. I’m attaching a copy of the
award winner’s names as we know them. If you won an award but we don’t have your name,
please contact me (rileycarguy@gmail.com) and I’ll send your award to you.
The furthest driven award was given out incorrectly. If you think you drove your car the
farthest, contact me and I’ll send it to you (317-437-4770).
One club had 7 entrants, one had 6; I’m going to give you both the biggest club award! Please
send me your address for these awards.
Finally, I want to thank all the volunteers, the Waterfront Inn, The Villages Employees, and any
others for helping this show be a success. It is estimated that over 5000 attended the show!
