Brits On The Square Auto Show and Festival 2024

Hosting this 3rd annual event, The Villages British Motoring Club welcomes all British car owners, both locally and beyond, to participate in this spectacular weekend. This festive event includes:
- A Friday British-only, Participant/Professional Judged Auto Show and British-themed and judged Auto Show & Festival
- Trophies and Awards
- Goody Bag Handouts
- Food and Entertainment
- Thousands of People to see your cars from The Villages
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4: British-Only Car Show
Registration Fee: $25 per car Advanced Registration
Trophies Awarded for at least 20 Classes and 3 Best-of-Show
The Brits On The Square Show consists of three components:
- The Participant Judged Auto Show (12:00-2:00, Waterfront Inn),
- The Professional-Judged Auto Show (12:00-2:00, Waterfront Inn), and
- The Villager Judged On-the-Square Auto Show with food and entertainment (4:00 – 8:00, Lake Sumter Landing).The Villagers, about 8,500 last year, can vote on their favorite auto.
We encourage you to Register Online NOW! prior to September 27 to ensure you can be included in the judging and in the shows. However, same day onsite registration is available at $30 per car.

A Poolside BBQ Lunch, $20: Pay at Poolside
Check-In and Registration: The Waterfront Hotel, Lake Sumter Landing, The Villages, 10:30 AM - 12:00 Noon. Please Note: Cars may not park in the Waterfront Inn front parking lot prior to 11:00 AM, after 11am, participants will be directed to their class designated areas.
Check-In for Advanced Registrants: Participants will receive a Goody Bag, Dash Plaque, Special Gift, Windscreen ID Placard, Judging Ballot. More detailed staging and judging instructions will be emailed before the event.
Same Day Registration: Opens at 10:30 AM. Cash or check only. In order to be included in judging, space must be available and registration will conclude at 12:00 Noon. If you’re not interested in the judging competition from12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM and are only interested in showing your car on the Square for the Villagers, registration will remain open until 2:30 PM. Please note that participation gift items are limited. Because the hotel is undergoing interior construction, we will inform you closer to the event where to check in.
- Participant Judging: In order to participate in the judging, your car must be checked-in and parked in the in the hotel’s front parking lot by 1:00 PM. Judging takes place from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Scores will be tallied between 2:00-2:45 PM and following the awards presentation, we will move up to the Lake Sumter Town Square at 3:45 PM.
We have Four Best of Show Winners that will be announced to the public during the band’s break at approximately 8:00 PM.

SPECIAL FEATURES
The Villages Entertainment will host food trucks and vendors, live entertainment by a local band, a Scottish Pipe and Drum Band at the Sumter Landing Town Square. Stores and restaurants will be open around the Square.
The Villages British Motoring Club will host ASK THE EXPERT: Professional British mechanic John Thompson will be available for technical advice. Mr. Thompson is an Englishman with 50 years’ experience in maintaining all types of British cars.
The Villages British Motoring Club Photographers will be shooting photos and video throughout the show, including photos of winners. Photos will be posted on the British Motoring Club website. Look at our website to see last year’s event.
